What it is
Every Pennsylvania deed package carries the Realty Transfer Tax Statement of Value (REV-183), copy 1 of 2 and copy 2 of 2. The form depends on whether the transfer is exempt from Pennsylvania's realty transfer tax, so the deed flow asks that first.
Built into your Pennsylvania deed package
You do not fill this form in separately. Create a Pennsylvania Pennsylvania deed and the form is prepared from the same answers and bound into the package, with the signing guide marking every place to sign.
How it works
- Create it online. Answer plain-English questions and the deed is drafted for you.
- Sign in front of a notary. Everyone named as a signer signs in ink; the signing guide in your package marks every place to sign.
- Send it for recording. Every recordable document carries its own way straight into recording. Scan it to one PDF (300 dpi, up to 50 MB) and upload it.
- We review and file it. Our office checks the scan by hand within one business day of payment, files it with the county and emails you the recorded copy.
